SALA Prive' 2.0 - Luxury Online. Over thirty brand owners and executives attended our networking breakfast event held at HQ/Caveau in Cape Town on 7th April 2010. Piers Schmidt, Chairman of SALA, gave a thorough presentation on the increasingly amicable relationship between luxury brands and the online world. From Gucci i-phone apps to Louis Vuitton's comprehensive online universe to Burberry's 1million (and rising) Facebook fans, the economic crisis has forced these brands to engage in online dialogue with their consumers like never before.
